At Jacket Authority, customer satisfaction is our top priority. We are committed to delivering high-quality leather jackets, and we understand that sometimes things don’t go as expected. Below is our detailed refund policy to ensure a seamless process for any refund requests.

Eligibility for Refunds

  • Standard Leather Jackets: Refunds are available for standard leather jackets that are returned in new, unworn, and unused condition with all original tags attached. The jacket must be returned within 30 days of delivery.
  • Custom Leather Jackets: Due to the personalized nature of custom jackets (including custom designs, measurements, and materials), these items are non-refundable, unless the item arrives damaged or defective.
  • Final Sale Items: Jackets marked as final sale or clearance items are non-refundable.

How to Request a Refund

  1. Contact Us: To initiate a refund, please reach out to our customer service team at sales@jacketauthority.com within 30 days of receiving your jacket. Provide your order number and the reason for the refund request.
  2. Approval Process: Once your refund request is submitted, our team will review the request and notify you of approval or rejection within 3-5 business days. If approved, we will provide instructions on how to return the jacket.
  3. Return the Jacket: After receiving approval, please send the jacket back to the address provided. The jacket must be in its original condition, with tags attached, and in the original packaging. The return must be postmarked within 7 days of receiving the return authorization.

Refund Process

  • Once we receive and inspect the returned jacket, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, a refund will be processed, and a credit will be applied to your original method of payment within 7-10 business days.
  • Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the item is defective or incorrect.

Non-Refundable Items

  • Custom Leather Jackets: Custom designs and personalized jackets are crafted to your specifications, and thus, they cannot be returned or refunded unless they arrive defective or damaged.
  • Gift Cards: Purchases made using gift cards are non-refundable.
  • Final Sale or Clearance Items: Any items purchased during a final sale or clearance event are not eligible for refunds.

Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive a jacket that is damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us immediately at sales@jacketauthority.com. We will arrange for a replacement or a full refund, including any shipping fees. Please provide details and photos of the damage for verification.

Refund Timeline

Refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days of receiving and inspecting the returned jacket. Depending on your bank or credit card provider, it may take additional time for the refund to appear in your account. If you haven’t received your refund after 10 business days, please contact your financial institution first, as there may be processing delays on their end.

Return Shipping Costs

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the jacket is defective or incorrect.
  • We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance for returns, as we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

International Refunds

For international customers, refunds will be processed in the original currency of the transaction. Please note that exchange rates may vary at the time of the refund. Customs duties and taxes paid on international orders are non-refundable.

Exchanges

If you wish to exchange your jacket for a different size, color, or style, please refer to our Exchange Policy for detailed instructions. Exchanges are subject to the same eligibility criteria as refunds and must be requested within 30 days of delivery.
